Iga Swiatek stands on the brink of another hat-trick. If she clinches this year's French Open, it will mark her third consecutive title at Roland Garros. In total, the Polish star will secure her fourth championship at this venue in five years and her fifth title overall in her career, having previously won three French Opens and one US Open.

Swiatek achieved an extraordinary milestone by defeating Coco Gauff of the United States 6-2, 6-4 in today's semifinals. She is now on the verge of winning the French Open for the third consecutive year, aiming to become the first female player since Justine Henin in 2007 to accomplish this feat. In the final, she will face the winner of the second semifinal between Italy's Jasmine Paolini and Russia's Mira Andreeva.

Swiatek faced some challenges in the second set against Gauff but managed to prevail. Reflecting on the set, Swiatek commented, "The second set was a tight battle, but I'm pleased with my consistency in sticking to my tactics."
