According to the Hindustan Times, Pradeep Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of Axis My India, which conducts election polls, was present at India Today's live event. As the results were announced one after another, it became evident that the BJP might not secure a majority.Pradeep Gupta became emotional and cried upon seeing the results. Earlier, after voting in the final phase of the Lok Sabha elections on Monday, exit polls predicted that the BJP would form the government again with a single-party majority. However, the results so far do not support this prediction.

According to Axis My India, a booth-based polling agency, the NDA was projected to win 361-401 seats, while the India Alliance was expected to secure 131-166 seats.

However, as of the latest updates, the NDA is not leading in 300 seats, and the India Alliance is ahead in 230 seats.
