The final results for 292 constituencies in India's Lok Sabha elections have been declared. The ruling BJP has won 144 seats, while the main opposition Congress has secured 58. Other parties' results are as follows: Samajwadi Party (SP) 23 seats, Trinamool Congress (TMC) 14, DMK five, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) four, Janata Dal (United) (JD-U) four, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) three, CPI (M) three, and Shiv Sena (Uddhav) two.

Additionally, Shiv Sena (SHS) has won two seats, Janata Dal (Secular) (JD-S) two, and Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKN) two. The Communist Party of India (CPI), Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAMS), Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP), Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Voice of the People Party, Joram People's Movement (JPM), Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLTP), Bharat Adivasi Party, Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM), and Azad Samaj Party (ASPKR) have each won one seat. An independent candidate has also won a seat.

This information has been provided by the Election Commission of India on their website.

According to the latest updates on the website, the BJP is leading in 89 seats, while the Congress is ahead in 39. The Samajwadi Party (SP) is leading in 14 seats, and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's party, Trinamool Congress, is leading in 15 seats.

Based on the current results, it is clear that the BJP cannot secure a majority on its own. A total of 272 seats are required to form the government out of the 543 Lok Sabha seats. Even with the seats where the BJP is leading, their total falls short of this number.

In the last Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won 303 seats on its own, and the BJP-led NDA alliance secured 352 seats. However, it is believed that even if the BJP wins this election, it will not achieve a single-party majority. Therefore, the BJP will need to rely on its NDA alliance partners. The main NDA coalition partners are Chandrababu Naidu's Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal-United (JD-U) in Bihar.

In addition to these two parties, the BJP also relies on other NDA partners. These include the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) in Maharashtra, the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) in Bihar, and the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) in Uttar Pradesh.

In the last election, Congress won 52 seats on its own, while the Congress-led UPA alliance secured a total of 94 seats.
